Hey Bandsmen.
School has started.
Yes, most of you might feel the stress again plus juggling band.
in addition, there's a competition coming up.
its gonna be hard from now onwards.
I seriously hope that NO ONE should give up halfway.
You dont wanna have your tireless and exhausting months of practice
to go down the drain, do you?
As much as possible, try to bring home your instruments or the least your mouthpieces.
every bit counts. every effort matters. for you, for the band.
The seniors have gone through this and knows the tough journey more than anyone does.
Hence, SLs please get those Missing-In-Action juniors back.
and SLs do convince your juniors and make sure they have a regular or
else perfect attendance for the few weeks. motivate them.
we need them, for SYF, for the future of the band.
And this post goes out especially to those juniors who did not get selected
to play for the competition.
i know it was hard to accept, but there are many more chances ahead.
there's still SYF next year, many concerts ahead etc.
Its not the end of the road. DO NOT GIVE UP.
everybody has their different pace, its not that your lousy.
everybody is different, just keep working with your instrument.
Its not confirmed yet, hence, you still have a month to work extremely hard,
to earn the spot to play with the main band.
once again, do not feel discouraged, do not give up.
keep practicing, practice makes perfect. (:
Alright?
thats all for now, i guess.
